Cookie and Analytics Notice
How One to Connect uses essential storage, cookieless statistics and optional analytics.
Essential storage
We use essential cookies and local storage for security, sign-in sessions, language routing and remembering your analytics choice. These are always on because the site cannot work without them.
Cookieless visit statistics
We count page views with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we host ourselves; the data stays on our servers and is not shared with advertisers or data brokers. Before you choose, and if you decline, only cookieless page views are sent: nothing is stored on your device, web addresses are reduced to the type of page (tokens, codes and ids are removed) and query strings are left out. Umami does not store IP addresses; it keeps only the browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and approximate location (country, region and city).
Optional analytics after you accept
Only when you accept analytics do we set the first-party cookie o2c_vid, a random visitor id kept for 12 months. We then link your visits to coarse account details (account type, plan, team role and language, never your name or email address), record how features are used, for example which buttons are clicked or how far a page is scrolled, and count views for profile owners' own analytics.
Session replays and heatmaps
After you accept, we may record a sample of visits to see how pages are used and where people click. Recordings mask all text and everything typed into forms, and leave out areas with personal data such as leads, contact details, account details and billing data. Pages opened from invitation, claim, password-reset or order links are never recorded.
Retention
Session replays are deleted after 30 days, heatmaps and performance data after 90 days, and page views and analytics events after 24 months.
Changing your choice
Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to accept or decline at any time. When you decline, the o2c_vid cookie is deleted and events and recordings stop immediately; only cookieless page views continue.
